Discounts play a crucial role while purchasing. While purchasing discounted; we do not only expect them to save us money.

It is obvious that discounts save money, but it is a half-truth. While purchasing we not only think about money, quality, and quantity but also think about our social class, roles & status, reference group, lifestyle & personality, beliefs & attitude, etc. These are the factors that we do not recognize but somehow, they affect our buying behavior. However, when we notice discounted products, it freezes us to think of those characters we usually think before buying anything because it saves our time and energy to think about whether to purchase or not and forces us to take the purchase action immediately.
